Where Does She Get The Patience? – Timelapse Of Girl Taking A Selfie Every Day For 8 Years

Note: Photo screenshotted totally at random.

Much like the video posted by Hugo Cornellier, this video is from Anne Eadington, who somehow had the same idea. Was there something I missed last decade that required everyone to take a daily photo? I barely had a computer ten years ago so who knows let alone a camera. After 8 years of taking a photograph every day, Eadington then timelapsed them all together for a 3 minute video of awesome. It’s amazing to see how much someone changes but how much they stay the same.

I mean, I went from lacking the ability to grow a beard to gaining the ability to grow a really rubbish beard. Let’s hope Eadington continues this until she’s at least 140. That would be a video I’d like to see. “But you’ll be dead by then!” You’re right, I’ll be dead before she hits 32.

Keep going for the video, then go and subscribe!

Watch This Timelapse Of A Dude Sculpting Some Of Your Favourite Movie Characters Out Of Clay

The below videos are of Steven Richter of Tom Spina Designs sculpting some of our favourite characters. Clay can be a wonderful thing if you actually have an artistic talent. I once made some pretty awesome clay sculptures when I was in school. “You made a wonky ashtray that was green and brown.” Yeah but it was an awesome ashtray! “It had a hole in the middle of it and your mother got cigarette ash everywhere.” Yeah well, I was 7, what do you expect?!

Below he creates Thanos (with light up eyes), Hulk and Chewbacca. Of course be sure to visit his channel for a bunch more. The amount of time and detail that go into these are amazing. You don’t really get a sense of how long these take to create as they’re filmed in a timelapse. But you can be damn sure it takes more patience than I am capable of.

Pretty – Time-Lapse Of A Storm In South Dakota Shows How Beautiful Nature Is

Being a big fan of time-lapse videos, it’s obvious I’d be a huge fan of Chad Cowan. Chad manages to capture beautiful time-lapse videos of nature at its best. The video below is of a weak storm in South Dakota during sunset. The colours that it gives off are simply breathtaking, especially with it being in 4K. He even does courses on how to do the same thing yourself, however I don’t live in America nor do I own any sort of camera (apart from the one of my phone). So, I suppose I’ll just stick to looking at sick ass time-lapses online, it’s cheaper that way.

Unlike South Dakota, I get to live in the part of the world that only has grey skies and lashings of rain on a daily basis. One day I’ll move, one day. “No you won’t.” I know.

I Love A Good Timelapse – See The Colorado River Within The Grand Canyon In All Its Natural Beauty

This video is of the Colorado River inside the Grand Canyon, created in wonderful 4K by Sunchaser Pictures. I’ve never seen the appeal of going to the Grand Canyon myself, while it is beautiful, I’m afraid my crippling fear of heights would ruin the effect. I went to the Cliffords Tower in York and I had to go down the stairs on my hands and knees. So the Grand Canyon… no thank you.

However I do enjoy looking at it from afar, in another country, behind a computer screen.

…very few ever get to experience the Grand Canyon by way of the Colorado River. Stretching from Lees Ferry at Marble Canyon, AZ, through the inner gorge graced with geology dating as far back as 1.8 billion years, all the way to Diamond Creek, just before the river gives way to Lake Mead, these spectacular 225 miles of whitewater rafting are only accessible by guided commercial motor trips and private rafting permits.

Just Beautiful – Man Creates 360 Degree, 8K Timelapse Of The Northern Lights Under Super Moon

This is a timelapse 360 video in wonderful 8k definition by William Briscoe Photography, of the Aurora Borealis, under a super blue blood moon (what a mouthful). The whole thing is just a spectacle to watch. The Northen Lights are something everyone should see before they die and now you can without leaving your living room and going to stand in the cold. The way the Northern Lights reflect off the snow as well… Oh my. I drooled on my keyboard a little bit. I’d just be happy with a clear night sky and just look at the stars. No chance of that over here though, the only thing you’re seeing through the telescope in my area is a lovely, thick, grey cloud.

Keep going to see how beautiful our planet can be.

I Don’t Remember Greece Being This Pretty – Overhead Timelapse Of Athens

This video is an overhead shot of Athens, Greece. Shot by filmmaker Alexandros Maragos, he captures the city as the day turns to night.

It features hyperlapse, timelapse and drivelapse cinematography of the urban area and the skyline of “the glorious city”. Shot almost entirely from the highest rooftops, hills and mountains at night, the film explores the urban core, the city center and beyond.

There is no denying that the city does look beautiful from afar. However I remember the time I visited to watch an Arsenal game. “But you don’t like football?” No I don’t, however I do like visiting countries I’ve never been to before. It certainly didn’t look this beautiful up close. I visited the Parthenon and saw graffiti scrawled on the side. I wonder when it was being built all those years ago if they ever considered some little scrotum would vandalise it in such a way. Probably not, spray paint wasn’t invented until 1949.

Then of course was the actual travel and whatnot. All I saw were armed police everywhere. But we didn’t get stabbed or indeed teargassed, so that already beat my trip to Belgium.

In any case, click below to see natural beauty at its finest. Videos and a few extra shots from Alexandros Maragos’ Instagram.
