WTF Is That? – Just A Man Driving His Own Personal Mecha Around

The below video is of a man just driving his own personal Mecha.

With some help from a couple of his friends, this guy was able to build a mecha he could control. He took it for a test drive on a basketball court and drove it around before showing off more of its awesome functions.

I’d love one of these, I’m not sure where I’d keep it though. It’s not something you exactly keep on the streets in my area. But if those are working guns then I’d probably just sleep in it. The apocalypse is coming people!

HTC Create A “Transparent” Phone, Guy Takes A Look At It, Then Fixes It

This is from the huge YouTube channel JerryRigEverything, the man I wish I was. This time he takes a look at the HTC U11. HTC have recently released a “transparent” version. True it does show you the battery, but Zack goes one better and makes it completely transparent. Me personally, I wouldn’t dare take any sort of blade to a brand new phone, so watching what he does to these phones he reviews truly makes me cry. I also don’t see the point of the phone being transparent either, as all of mine go into a case straight away. Why would you keep an expensive piece of hardware just loose in your pocket with no protection?!

Oh That’s Nice – Men Create The ‘Virtuous Treaty’ Sword From NieR: Automata

The below video is from the Men At Arms: Reforged team who specialize in recreating popular weaponry as seen on TV, film and games. This weeks edition is the ‘Virtuous Treaty’ sword from the game NieR: Automata. The way these guys make these beautiful weapons is simply a pure art from. While the sword looks awesome, I don’t get the practicality of it though.

Not sure what the guys at Platinum Games were thinking when they created the game, I don’t see how having the blade away from the hilt would help. But then, I’ve not played the game so maybe there’s some in game reason. Who knows, what I do know is the sword in real life looks pretty sweet. If there is ever a zombie apocalypse, these are the guys I want crafting my weapons.

Keep going for the video.

That’s No Good For The Atmosphere! Slow Motion Video Of Falcon Heavy Liftoff

Do you know who I wish I was? Elon Musk. I mean the man is a self-made billionaire; he put the work in and now he gets to send rockets into space. The video below shows the impressive liftoff of the Falcon Heavy in breathtaking high definition slow motion. Shot by Jay DeShetler, the sound and quality make you feel like you’re almost there. That is unless of course, you’re sat on the toilet watching this. There’s nothing otherworldly about being sat on the toilet. The rocket took off from Kennedy Space Center Launch Pad 39A, in what can only be the first step into SpaceX developing viable space travel. I have no doubt that before long Elon will get us to other livable planets, so we can use up all the resources on that planet too, like the vampires we are. Until that happens, I’m still struggling to put half a tank of Diesel in my 10-year-old Mondeo. So you know, hurry up Musk!

Click next to see the video, turn up your speakers, sit back and take it all in.

Finally. Tool Lets You Put Nicolas Cage’s Face On Anything

Ever wished you’d seen Nicolas Cage star in better films than he has been doing recently? I know I have.

Well now we can, thanks to a new piece of software that can impose anyone’s face on anything, the FakeApp was designed by a Reddit user called deepfakeapp, who took the idea from another Reddit user called deepfake, who had previously used an algorithm to realistically project the faces of celebrities into porno’s.

This relatively easy to use software however let’s you use anyone’s face and project it into any of your favourite films. Naturally the only person you should be using is Nicolas Cage.

Check out your Cagey goodness below.
